This kind of took on a more dramatic feeling than I originally intended. I was just playing around with using stocks and things, and I was just going to throw them all together in a little Victorian vanity, just pretty little things a girl would have. But as I started adding the pictures and postcards and things, it took on more of a feeling that she had been left behind while her little beau ran off on his trip. I don't know if any of that comes across in the picture, but it did to me. Thus the title. :aww:

EDIT: I tapered the tablecover, as *maguinness suggested, and I also fixed the shadows, as ~boobootoo suggested. I think it looks much better than before. Thank you both!! :aww:

all you need to do to make this 100% stronger is to add perspective into the flat items on the desk. taper the large white mat on the desk and it will fall into place. if you really want to go for it you can taper the smaller flat items, but the large white square is your problem.

nice piece though.
